Leashes by Liz. Handcrafted Paracord dog accessories that are created for you and your pup to make every adventure amazing.

All of our products are handmade in Colorado. We strive to bring you only the best using quality materials sourced in the US and industrial equipment to provide a professional finish. We work with local shelters and support other small businesses. Like many companies we started because we couldn't find what we were looking for at traditional outlets for our pup Shaquille, since then his inspiration has led us to grow into the company we are today. You can find our products in over 200 stores nationwide including Disneyworld, Pier 39, and NYC. We also have international partners in Canada and the UK. We look forward to continuing to grow and bringing our products to the world.

Cat Care Society is a limited-admission non-profit cat shelter located in Lakewood, Colo., that was founded in 1981. Throughout the organization’s 40-plus year history, they’ve worked to provide adoption services and life-saving medical treatment to cats in need in Colorado while providing education to people who love cats. Their unique and free-roaming approach views all cats as worthy; none are too old or ill to be valued, loved and treated with dignity. Cat Care Society's mission is to be a safe and enriching place for all cats on their journey to a loving home. They do this by providing compassionate care, shelter, adoption services and community engagement.

The Colorado Pet Pantry is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Our EIN is 45-4210185.

How We Work

We partner and distribute directly out of “human” food pantries because

1. They have an established relationship with the neighborhood

2. We can leverage their administrative processes and their buildings, in an effort to run a lean organization

3. The availability of pet food helps to ensure that the already limited “human” food is reserved for the humans and pets receive balanced meals

The work behind the scenes includes soliciting pet food donations, storing pet food, increasing awareness of the pet food pantry, engaging volunteers, and distributing the donated pet food to families-in-need during 100+ monthly pet food pantries statewide.

Many partners have joined us in the effort to keep pets in their loving homes, including human food banks and resources, pet food stores and suppliers, animal shelters, spay and neuter services, foundations and corporate supporters. Learn how you can become a partner with Colorado Pet

In 1984, a group of friends along with about 200 rescued dogs and cats, a few bunnies and birds, and a couple of burros landed in a remote canyon in Utah's high desert and took the first steps on the path of what would become the nationwide movement for homeless pets.

They had been individually and collectively involved in animal rescue and advocacy for a number of years, rescuing dogs and cats with special needs and from high-risk shelters. And like most rescuers, they shared a dream of having “a place in the country” where they could bring in as many animals as they wanted without concern about neighbors or landlords. That dream came true, but they had no idea where it would lead. They had no idea at the time that what they were about to start would become a nationwide movement.

The goal was to make not just a place to house homeless pets but a place of healing — a place where every animal, regardless of any special needs, would feel welcomed and every pet would be considered unique and adoptable. It would be a place that exemplified the truth that kindness to animals makes a better world for all of us.

At Parkside Animal Health Center, we want to get your pet feeling better and keep them feeling their best for as long as possible. We treat your pets like members of the family- because they are! But it’s more than that - our animal hospital sticks to a set of well-established core values in order to provide the best care for every pet and person we see.  Parkside Animal Health Center has made a commitment to not only our patients with families but also the homeless pets in our community. We work closely with several rescue groups to get their foster dogs ready for their new homes, which sometimes includes extensive care from our animal hospital.  We believe our responsibility to animal health extends beyond our hospital, and strive to carry this out in meaningful actions.

At SodaPup we specialize in American-made power chewer dog toys.  Our proprietary material is formulated for super chewer dogs.  It's the safest and toughest material for your dog.

Just like babies and young children, dogs, and especially puppies, explore by mouthing and chewing. It’s a natural instinct. When you provide toys that allow dogs to chew, you provide stimulation and challenge and allow them to express their instinct for chewing on something other than the couch cushion or your favorite shoes.

When you give your dog a Sodapup stuffable toy, the food inside keeps them interested, figuring out how to get the food from the inside provides mental stimulation, and delivering meals or snacks inside the toy makes meal time last more than the few seconds it takes many dogs to scarf down a meal.

Provide a stuffed toy to help with boredom, crate training, separation anxiety and chewing problems.
