Thank you for your interest in adopting a companion animal from Black Ops Rescue. We serve veterans located in Colorado, primarily along the Front Range. Please note, we do not adopt out service animals; our pets are companion animals.
You will be asked to provide your contact info and preference below. Once we receive your application, a member of the Black Ops Rescue team will contact you within a few days. We will set up a time for an in-home interview to discuss your needs and wants and to determine the appropriate pet for you. We also require proof of service, such as a DD-214, military ID card, VA card, etc.
Because adopting a pet is a lifelong commitment, our team will then begin “shopping” local shelters for the best pet for you, based on your unique circumstances. We believe the unconditional love of a companion animal is medicine in itself. Our goal is to find the best match for YOU.
Thank you for your interest and thank you for your service to our country!
